On the weekend of September 20th-22nd The Detroit Center of Self-Realization Fellowship will host a joint silent retreat with Golden Lotus at Song of the Morning in Vanderbilt, Michigan. Activities will include group meditation with chanting, kirtan, Energization Exercises, delicious vegetarian meals and time to relax in the beautiful fall retreat setting. Our next General Membership Meeting will be Sunday, October 20th, immediately following the 11 o’clock service. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Topics on the agenda will be our “India Night” celebration on Saturday, November 2nd. Also, the year 2020 will mark the 100th anniversary of the arrival of Paramahansa Yogananda in the United States. How can we celebrate?


Our India Night Celebration on November 2nd will be at India Flavors Restaurant in Farmington Hills from 6-9 p.m. Prepaid tickets will be available for purchase in the bookstore during October.

Services will be cancelled on Thursday, November 28 as we celebrate Thanksgiving Day.


The Christmas All-day meditation will be on Saturday, December 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
